For my MBA Capstone, I was assigned to work with a team of three other students to address the value proposition of Great American Insurance Group's website. Under Great American, exists two separate services, Property and Casualty (P&C) and Annuities. The project scope strictly focused on the P&C branch and the thirty-three business units that operate underneath P&C.
Among the business units, there was hesitation to recognize the value of the corporate website. During our project, we researched the evolving role of a website in the insurance industry and analyzed how to improve Great American's site so it is more accepted by the business units.
Each recommendation was derived to create a more collaborative environment within the company, provide greater satisfaction for the agents by simplifying the process, and as a result, create more business for Great American.
